Calcutta Fundraiser Results – June 18th

Recently, players, coaches, friends and family had the opportunity to bid on the Harlequin player (male/female) they believed would score the first try of the match Saturday June 18th (Family Day). The players bid on that scored the first try received 50% of the total pot.  THE RESULTS ARE IN…..

The womens winners were Aleks Prednozek and Amie Donkers who took away $365 on a $45 wager that Satyn Shellard would score first.
The mens winner was Dave Goodrow who won $610 for his $150 bet on Adam Maahs.
Funds raised for the club $975 – Thanks Everyone!!!!!

Family Day Fundraiser for Jordan’s Trek4 MS

Thanks to all the friends, family and rugby players for the generous donations in the amount of $655 for Jordan’s Trek4 MS.   Special thanks to all the volunteers who collected at the gate and Dave Neill for arranging the fundraiser.

U-14 Results – June 11th

The Q- Meta Group defeated Toronto Inner City 20-10 to remain undefeated in the Ontario Rugby Union U14 Premier (Blue) Division. Liam D’Amato scored 2 trys for the Harlequins. Tyden Kelly and Neil Wiecek each scored one try. Outstanding performers included Hayden Clarke, Brandon Giles, and Michael Rizzo.

Junior Programs Begin!

This coming Saturday, June 4th we begin our Junior Rugby programs. This includes U15 Girls (born 1996, 1997 & 1998), U16 (and U15) Boys (born 1995 & 1996).
U15 Girls start at 9:00 am.
U16 Boys start at 10:30 am.

If you know of anyone who is planning on playing, but has not yet registered please make sure they’re at the club on Saturday. 

U18 Boys(born 1993 & 1994) will start the following Saturday, June 11.

U18 Girls (born 1993 & 1994) have begun with practices Mondays & Wednesday at 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
