Q-Meta Group U 16 Boys Update

Q-Meta Group U16 Boys won the Niagara Rugby Union championship. In the semi-finals, Q-Meta Group Black defeated Stratford 29-0 with try scored by Tucker Kelly (2), Ethan Hager (2), and Brandon Hotrum. Ian Chisholm and Hager each kicked one convert. Outstanding players included Alex McClure, Michael Wilson, and Jordan Nichols.

In the other semi-final, Q-Meta Group Red defeated London 24-7 with tries scored by Mayy Gencius, Tommy Bove, Calum Shannon, and Justin Malcolm. Tommy Gemmell kicked 2 converts.Strong performers included Tyler Titmus, Will Hurley, and Matt Donn.

In the NRU championship final, Q-Meta Group Black defeated Q-Meta Group Red 50-13. Black’s try scorers were Jonah Ferreira (3), Ethan Hager (2), Tysen McLean, Ryan O’Shaughnessy, and Mitch Cowan. Ian Chisholm kicked 5 converts. Red try scorers were Tommy Bove and Ben King. Gemmell kicked a penalty goal.

Q-Meta Group advances to next weekends Ontario Rugby Union championships in Markham.

U16 Boys remain undefeated!

Q-Meta Group Red defeated London 29-24. Tries scorers included: Tommy Gemmell (2), Calum Shannon, Talen de St.Croix, and Matt Donn. Gemmell kicked 2 converts. Outstanding performers were Cameron Millen, Tommy Bove, and Matt Gencuis. Brantford Red’s record is now 5-0.

Q- Meta Black defeated Burlington 32-0. Try scorers were Alex McClure (2), Ethan Hager(2), Jonah Ferreira, and Brandon Hotrum. Hager kicked one convert. Outstanding players were Ian Chisholm, Liam Boeyenga, and Ryan O’Shaughnessy. Brantford Black’s record improved to 5-0.

U15 Girls – Prom Dress Rugby

U 15 girls to play a prom dress game at Oakville on Thurs July 31st.   Kick Off is at 6 pm .  20 dollar donation for breast cancer

First kick off for the u 15 Girls this Sunday (July 27th) is 10:00 am in Oakville at Crusader Park.   (Across from the 5 drive in in Oakville).




U 16 Boys Update

Q-Meta Group U16 Red defeated Wilmot 38-14. Justin Malcolm scored 3 tries while Matt Donn, Tommy Gemmell, and Elliott East each scored one try. Gemmell added 4 converts. Outstanding players included Brandon Hotrum, Tyler Titmus, and Cody Bowlby.

Q-Meta Group U16 Black defeated Hamilton 75-5. Ethan Hager scored 5 tries, Jordan Nichols scored 4 tries, and Alex McClure, Liam Boeyenga, and Nathan Penny scored one try each. Ian Chisholm kicked 6 converts and Hager added a drop goal. Outstanding players were Tysen McLean, Tommy Bove, and Cameron Geddes.

U16 Boys Update

Q-Meta Group Harlequin Red U16s defeated Fergus Highlands 15-7. Brandon Hotrum, Justin Malcolm, and Jordan Nichols each scored one try. Wil Hurley, Calum Shannon, and Zach Thomas played outstanding for the Harlequins.

U18 Girls – game canceled

Message from coach:

U18 Girls game against Burlington for tomorrow (Wednesday June 25th) is canceled.  Practice at 6:00 pm replaces game.

U16 Boys – Family Day Update

The Q-Meta Group Harlequins U16s defeated Waterloo 68-0 as part of Family Day at the Brantford Harlequins Club on Saturday. Aidan Shaw scored three tries, Ethan Hager scored two tries, while one try each was scored by Jordan Nichols, Jonah Ferreira, Alex McClure, Tysen McLean, Brandon Hotrum, Justin Malcolm, and Austin Grech. Ian Chisholm and Tommy Gemmell kicked two converts each. Outstanding performers included Tommy Bove, Tyler Titmus, and Wil Hurley.
