(2022 & 2023) – Parent and Tot Flag Rugby
$135.00 (Wed. evenings: 6pm – 6:45pm). Start date Wed. May 20. Registration includes a jersey. The program is designed to introduce toddlers to movement, play, and the very basic ideas of rugby in a fun, fully non‑contact setting. Sessions focus on simple activities that build coordination, balance, and confidence. The emphasis is on having fun, learning to listen and follow simple instructions, and enjoying active play with others. It’s a gentle, welcoming first step into the sport.

U6

(2020 & 2021) – Introduction to Flag Rugby
$147.54 (Wed. evenings: 6pm – 7pm). Start date Wed. May 20. Registration includes a jersey. The program introduces children to the fundamentals of flag rugby in a fun, safe, and non‑contact environment. Players learn basic skills such as running with the ball, passing, and spatial awareness through age‑appropriate games and activities. The emphasis is on enjoyment, teamwork, and building confidence rather than competition.

U8

(2018 + 2019) – Co-Ed Flag Rugby (Non-Contact)
$180.54 (Mon. & Wed. evenings*: 6pm – 7pm). Start date Wed. May 20. Registration includes a jersey. The program builds on early skills while keeping the game fun, fast, and fully non‑contact. Players develop confidence with passing, catching, evasion, and teamwork through structured games and simple drills. The focus is still on enjoyment and skill development, with gentle introduction to basic game concepts like attack and defense.

U10

(2016 + 2017) – Advanced Co-Ed Flag Rugby (Non-Contact)
$180.54 (Mon. & Wed. evenings*: 6pm – 7pm). Start date Wed. May 20. Registration includes a jersey. The program introduces players to more advanced skills and a greater sense of game flow while maintaining a safe, non‑contact environment. Children learn to support teammates, create space, and apply strategy in small‑sided games. Coaches encourage skill refinement, fair play, and sportsmanship while still ensuring that fun and participation come first.

*We typically do not practice on the Mondays following festival weekends, nor do we practice on public holidays. Please see the Events calendar in the Stack Team App for specifics.

Festivals and Games:

Athletes in U8-U10 will be invited to attend optional weekend festivals within an hour of Brantford. Once the schedule is set, it will be posted here and in the Stack Team App.

News & Weather Updates:

Stack Team App will be the primary communication platform between coaches and parents. Please watch the Stack Team App if you are wondering about potential cancellations due to weather.

Equipment/Clothing:

Weather appropriate athletic clothing (shorts/shirts/socks), running shoes/soccer cleats & water bottle. Most importantly – bring a positive, learning attitude!

Playing in a Higher Age Category:

If an athlete would like to request to play in a higher age category, a formal request can be made by emailing Jen Luke at brantfordminiquins@gmail.com. Coaches will assess experience and skill, amongst other things, and their decisions will be final. Athletes must stay in their correct age category until approval is granted.
